Dave started teaching when he was 19. He continued to teach almost every evening of every week even during his 14 years in the corporate world where he worked his way up from junior staffer to executive in multi-national corporations.

He believed in and was passionate about teaching so much that he founded a group of business schools in 1986, when Singapore was in recession. In just a few years it became the largest group of private business schools of its kind in Singapore. In 1993 he was one of the six directors / owners to list (IPO) an educational institution with the Singapore Exchange (then known as SES).

His journey from penniless to success triggered him to ask the question : "Why are some people very happy and financially successful while others are unhappy and struggling to make a living?" Asking this question was the turning point for him - he left the academic world in 1995 to provide coaching, advising and speaking services on how to improve their financial positions and be happy. Today, he is a Success Coach and Private Advisor, besides being an investor.

In short, coaching people to live their dreams is his passion. Coaching is where he gets to help individuals live into their greatness and increase their personal and professional effectiveness and experience greater joy, meaning, fulfillment and financial status too. It is a joy to be able to help people transform their lives - from dreams to reality. It makes him feel joyous that he is making a difference.

Dave is a Certified NLP Master Practitioner, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute (UK), an Honorary Fellow of the Association of Business Executives (UK) and his highest academic qualification is a Master of Science Degree (in International Marketing) from University of Strathclyde (UK).
